Dear BiUnity,

It's about time to think about our tasty annual gathering and fundraiser - Death Bi Chocolate.

Okay, I think it's time. I'm looking at the chocolate selections and starting to source my supplies for making tasty things.

Death by Chocolate is the big annual fundraiser for BiUnity that allows us to maintain a presence at 2-3 annual pride events in Philadelphia: Outfest, Philly Pride, and sometimes Equality Forum's Sunday Out (we will not be tabling there this year). This works when BiUnity members and friends donate a chocolate concoction that will be put up for sale or auctioned off to the highest bidder. Come meet other bisexuals, play games and enjoy the chocolate.

The date this year will be Saturday, January 12th from 2-5pm. Hope to see you there.

We are pleased to be able to keep the same friendly location as last year. The A-Space (4722 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143).

For planning purposes, I'd like to get a rough count now of how many people will be interested in baking. All I'm looking for is a rough estimate of how many things you'll bring, if you wish to bring anything. Very rough.

Feel free to either reply publicly with something tempting that will entice your fellow members of BiUnity to come and buy your wares or privately to nocounterspace at gmail.

We need to take care of BiUnity elections for this year. Sorry for the late notice. Here's the plan:

We are looking for nominations for people to hold the following positions:
Treasurer
Event Coordinator
List Moderator
Communications Officer
Merchandise Queen

This year's schedule will be like so:
Nominations in by one week from now: Dec 5th
And if we have more than one person nominated for any position (and assuming those people do not want to co-chair the position), then we'll organize some kind of election, probably online, to be completed within 2 weeks: Dec 19th

Description:  So... apparently bisexual men exist!  Who knew? All kidding aside, there has been a lot of news about recent research validating the existence of bisexuality and bisexuals. Come share with the group how you feel about the attention that seems to be focused on bisexuality and the new research that is coming out about us. If you are interested, after the meeting Laura will be heading over to IHOP.

[Please note that this was the topic that Laura picked for our last meeting in September which was canceled as a result of the aftermath of Hurricane Irene.]

Come join Diane for a night of gaming.  All you have to bring is
your lovely self... and if you have a favorite board game you'd like to
bring like Scrabble, Uno, Apples to Apples, Fluxx, etc., all the
merrier.  Pizza will be provided but feel free to bring a dessert,
